A new build popped up in South East Brisbane. The clients brief was for a clean, modern kitchen, featuring dark tones, and some wood detailing. The budget allocated for the project was modest, so care needed to be taken to get the most for the money. Lee Hardcastle redesigned the room to create a more spacious and workable pantry and island.
A semi-industrial aesthetic is the result, with slatted end panels, poured concrete benchtops and dark tones throughout. The slatted wood barn door with exposed track brings a rustic charm to the space and serves as a practical concealment to the pantry. Within the pantry there is plenty of room for storage and additional space for food preparation.
